Track billable time
Billable time adds billing fields to time entries and unlocks a utilisation report for billable and non billable work.
Turn on billable time
- 1Go to Settings, then Workforce Management.
- 2Open Time tracking.
- 3Turn on Billable time.
- 4Add Work log types such as Consulting, Support, or Implementation.
- 5Ask agents to mark time entries as billable when appropriate.
What appears on time entries
Billable time
A checkbox that marks the entry as billable.
Work log type
A category agents pick from the list you manage in settings.
Rate
An hourly rate for the billable entry.
Utilisation report
The utilisation report compares billable and non billable time, utilisation, billed amounts, and unbilled amounts by agent.
Turning it off keeps entries
Turning billable time off hides the billable fields. Existing entries are preserved.
