Use attendance and clock in

Attendance lets agents clock in and out to record time present. It is separate from time logged on tickets.

Turn on attendance

  1. 1Go to Settings, then Workforce Management.
  2. 2Open Time tracking.
  3. 3Turn on Enable time tracking.
  4. 4Turn on Enable attendance.
  5. 5Set Auto close shifts after.

How agents use it

  • Open My Timesheet.
  • Click Clock in when starting work.
  • Add an optional note.
  • Click Clock out when finishing.
  • Review hours worked for the week.

Review attendance

Admins can review attendance issues such as missing clock out, orphan clock out, over the cap, auto closed, still open, or flagged punches. Corrections require a reason and are saved to the audit trail.

Auto close protects the record

If an open punch is left past the limit, FyneDesk closes it and flags it for review so an admin can correct it.
