My Settings and Profile

Your personal settings control how FyneDesk works for you. Open My Settings from the app navigation. Your avatar menu also provides a separate profile page for your name, photo, team information, and account details.

Find the right section

  • Dashboard Settings: arrange the widgets in your own dashboard.
  • AI Organizer: adjust personal Organizer preferences when this feature is available to your account.
  • Notifications: choose which supported events notify you.
  • Security: manage password, two-step verification, and account-security options.
  • Appearance: select light, dark, or system appearance and a color theme.
  • Accessibility: choose text size, contrast, motion, focus, and page guidance preferences.
  • Time & Language: set the timezone used to display dates and choose your language.
  • Connections: manage supported personal connections when this section is available to you.

Some sections depend on your role, plan, or workspace rollout. If a setting is absent, check with your administrator rather than assuming it has been removed for everyone.

Update your profile

On the profile page, you can review your name, role, teams, location, and email address. Administrators can edit their own full name, location, and team memberships there. Other members may need an administrator to change those directory fields.

Preferred name is a separate self-service field that each member can update for their own account. You can also manage your profile photo and, where available, your email signature and availability preferences.

Change notification preferences

Open My Settings → Notifications to review the events and channels available to you. Supported ticket events include assignment, co-assignment, comments, and new-ticket activity. Changes to personal toggles save when you make them; workspace notification rules and ticket visibility still apply.

Choose appearance and accessibility

In Appearance, pick a light or dark surfaceβ€”or follow your device's system settingβ€”then choose a color theme for accents. The appearance mode and accent theme are different controls. Your choice is personal and does not change a teammate's display.

Use Accessibility to make long sessions easier to read and navigate. For example, you can adjust text scale, increase contrast, reduce motion, or strengthen keyboard-focus indicators.

Set time and language

Open Time & Language for the timezone selector. Search for a city, region, or offset, then select the zone that matches you. This affects the way dates and times are shown to you, not the underlying time of a ticket event or another member's preference.

Protect or recover your account

In Security, you can set up an authenticator app and save the one-time backup codes. The app also has a secure password-change flow. If you cannot sign in, use Forgot password on the sign-in page. See Sign-in & Security for setup and recovery guidance.

An email-address change may require an approval request or an administrator action, depending on your role. Check the email-change section of your profile's security settings; do not create a second account to change your address.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I edit my full name or team?

Those directory fields are managed by workspace administrators for non-admin members. You can still edit your own preferred name. Ask an administrator to correct your directory information.

Will changing my timezone or theme affect my teammates?

No. These are personal display preferences. Workspace-level settings are managed separately in Admin Settings.

Why can't I see Connections or Notifications?

Some sections are hidden for End User accounts or when a feature is not available. Ask your administrator which role and features are enabled for you.
