Workforce Management
Workforce Management helps you plan who is working, when they are available, how time is logged, and which weeks need approval. It lives in Settings under Workforce Management.
Use Workforce Management when your support work depends on people and coverage. It brings operating hours, shifts, on call, time off, attendance, billable time, and timesheets into one place.
What you can manage
Operating hours
Set working days, hours, timezone, and holidays. The SLA clock and calendar read this schedule.
Scheduling
Manage appointments, shift planning, shift swaps, on call coverage, time off, and maintenance windows.
Time tracking
Let agents log time, submit timesheets, track billable work, clock in and out, and compare planned hours with actual time.
Where to find it
- 1Open Settings.
- 2Choose Workforce Management in the settings sidebar.
- 3Turn on Enable Workforce Management.
- 4Use Operating hours, Scheduling, and Time tracking to configure the pieces your team needs.
When Workforce Management is off, FyneDesk hides the workforce surfaces. Existing data is kept and comes back if you turn the module on again.
Common examples
- Set business hours so SLA timers use the right work schedule.
- Publish weekly support shifts and let agents add availability.
- Let agents log ticket time and submit the week for approval.
- Create an on call rotation so urgent tickets page the right person.
- Let agents request time off and show approved leave on the calendar.
