What can Pro and Business do?
Pro includes supported read access. Business can enable supported write access for eligible users. Your role, record visibility, and the workspace's MCP settings may narrow either one.

The FyneDesk plugin brings supported ticket, knowledge, contact, and other workspace tools into ChatGPT. It uses your FyneDesk sign-in, so the access you already have—and the limits your workspace sets—still apply.
Plugin installation and connection take place in ChatGPT. A FyneDesk account and an MCP-enabled workspace are required.
Useful when you need context, not another tab
Ask ChatGPT to use the FyneDesk tools your account is allowed to use. Available results depend on the tool, your permissions, and the records you can see.
Review a specific ticket
Look up a ticket and its supported details before deciding on a next step.
Find support context
Use available knowledge, contacts, companies, or asset tools to gather relevant information.
Make permitted updates
On Business, enabled users can use supported write tools when their normal FyneDesk permissions allow the action.
Keep oversight
Workspace policy and the signed-in user's access apply to each call, and FyneDesk records MCP activity for audit.
This is not an unrestricted inbox scan, bulk export, or a way around FyneDesk permissions. Search and actions are limited to the tools the connection exposes.

Prepare your workspace
A FyneDesk admin enables AI assistants (MCP) and approves ChatGPT under Admin Settings → Connections.

Install in ChatGPT
Open the official FyneDesk plugin listing ↗ and follow ChatGPT's install prompts.

Sign in and approve
Follow the connection prompts to sign in to FyneDesk, review the requested access, and approve your own connection.
ChatGPT account or workspace policies may affect whether a user can install plugins.
Before you connect
Does installing the plugin grant access to all of FyneDesk?
No. You must sign in and approve a connection. The plugin can use only the tools and records that FyneDesk permits for your account.
How do I disconnect?
Revoke the connection from My Settings → Connections in FyneDesk. That stops FyneDesk access; you can separately uninstall the plugin in ChatGPT if you want to remove it there too.
Is this Fyne AI?
No. Fyne AI is built into the help desk. This plugin connects ChatGPT as an external client through FyneDesk's governed MCP layer.
